Careful Interior Work for Longmont Homes That Get Used Every Day
Interior paint reads differently in Longmont than it does in a lot of other Colorado towns. Our light is unusually strong most of the year, and the quality of that light shifts dramatically depending on whether you’re on the west side of town looking toward the foothills or over on the east side where the plains take over. A color that feels warm and soft in a Prospect kitchen can look almost cold in an Old Town bungalow two miles away. That’s part of what makes interior work in this town interesting, and it’s part of why my crew at Distinct Painting Co. takes the time to actually think about your home before we start rolling.
We’ve painted the inside of a lot of Longmont houses over the years. Historic homes near Roosevelt Park, ranches in Southmoor, newer builds off Airport Road, and every configuration in between. Each one has its own quirks. What holds up in every case is a slow, careful approach to the parts of the job that homeowners rarely see: the prep, the patching, the caulking, and the small decisions that separate paint you notice from paint that just feels right.
